Addisu Tadesse (PhD)

Dr. Addisu Tadesse Sahile is a distinguished public health expert with a comprehensive career spanning clinical practice, research, teaching, and program evaluation. Based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Dr. Addis's professional journey commenced with hands-on clinical practice, laying the groundwork for his future contributions to the field. He pursued an MPH from Debre Markos University (2014), followed by a Ph.D. in Public Health Studies from the University of South Africa (2019), demonstrating his commitment to advanced education and research.

Currently, Dr. Addisu is further enhancing his expertise by pursuing an MSc in Data Science, reflecting his dedication to integrating advanced data analysis into his work. Over the past fifteen years, he has built a remarkable career as a public health researcher and independent consultant, leading numerous grant-funded projects for prominent organizations such as Save The Children, Care Ethiopia, and IPHCE. His proficiency with data analysis tools like Epi-Info, Epi-Data, and SPSS, coupled with an impressive record of over 35 published articles, highlights his unwavering commitment to advancing community health through meticulous research and evaluation.

In addition to his consultancy work, Dr. Addisu serves as an Assistant Professor, where he engages in course delivery, mentorship, and research. His dedication to community service is evident through his involvement in life skills training. Furthermore, Dr. Addisu’s role as an active reviewer for several prestigious journals underscores his ongoing contribution to the advancement of public health knowledge.
